Jerry DeFabo, Jr, the oldest son of Jerry Sr. and Mary Frances DeFabo, is the sauce maker in the family. Jerry Jr. has made the sauce at the family restaurant since he was twelve years old. For years people would compliment us on our special homemade sauce and say, "Gee, we wish we could buy it in the grocery store." Now, not only can you purchase Rizzo's special sauces, made from the same family recipe for 65 years, from local grocery stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio but, for your convenience, here online! Rizzo's sauces are available in five delicious varieties, Spaghetti, Marinara, Mushroom and our two newest flavors, Tomato & Basil and Three Cheese, all still handmade by family members only. Our sauce is also available to buy in jars or by the case at the restaurant. Also look for our special Rizzo's Homemade Wedding Soup and frozen Gnocchi, available in the frozen section of your grocery store. The golden colored gnocchi are a special recipe only served at Rizzo's Malabar Inn.
